B&S officially opens two new stores at Bremen Airport
B&S has officially opened two duty-free shops at Bremen Airport.
Bremen Airport, located in the Northwest of Germany, handles around 2.7 million passengers a year and has around 50 non-stop destinations to 20 countries in Europe and North Africa. The airport is getting more and more important in the development of the region and partnered with B&S, as specialist, to meet the demands of both international as low-cost airline travellers.
The shops, with a total surface of 700 square metres, are located in the main terminal building and in the separate Ryanair departures area. The assortment includes perfumes & cosmetics, fashion & accessories, sunglasses, books & magazines, spirits & tobacco, jewellery & watches, gifts & souvenirs, electronics and sweets & chocolates.
For each terminal B&S has introduced a different innovative concept, based on the different passenger profiles. Both B&S and Bremen Airport have high expectations of the airport shopping experience that has been created.
Jürgen Bula, CEO, Bremen Airport:
“B&S has a clear understanding what regional travellers are looking for and what airport management expect from a concessionaire. The close partnership resulted in B&S to act as a valuable sparring partner which contributed to an optimal integration of the new shop concepts in the total airport environment.”
Maurice Riegel, Managing Director, B&S:
“The opening at Bremen Airport represents an important part of B&S’ retail development strategy. B&S has built years of experience in regional airport retail, being a long-term partner, amongst others, of Eindhoven Airport where we have outperformed the passenger growth over the past few years and have proven ourselves in understanding the international traveller."
