The Cruise season starts…

It’s that time of the year again, the Cruise Industry’s summer season 2010 has started and B&S Global Cruise Supply is ready for the task.

In Europe B&S Global Cruise Supply is the largest supplier to the Cruise Industry with Food, Bonded and Non Food items and its data base has well over 12,000 line items as per individual cruise line specifications.

With well over 30 years of experience in supplying the Cruise Industry B&S Global Cruise Supply delivers at ALL ports in Europe. In addition they are now since 2 years also supplying Cruise Ships in the Caribbean and Latin America from their South Florida based logistics center.

During 2009 B&S Global Cruise Supply delivered 1,250 Truck loads to 43 different cruise ships in Europe alone, the expectations for 2010 is to exceed this by 7 more ships and supply 50 + cruise ships with well over 1,350 truckloads.

Although the season last from March to November to prepare for this B&S Global Cruise Supply starts already well before the last cruise ships are returning to the Caribbean. During the last quarter of the year the purchase and sales managers are starting to get busy with gathering prices and information for products needed by the Cruise Lines for the following year.

It should be noted that even during an economical stressful situation, B&S Global Cruise Supply is still showing growth by adding extra ships and companies to their portfolio. The Cruise Lines are staying longer in Europe and some even remain for the full year.

It is going to be a very busy season/year for B&S GCS but with their state of the art Warehousing and Freezer facilities, a Product Sourcing Data Base second to none as well a dedicated and experienced team; they are ready to deliver.
